Legislative Committee struck for C-38
A Legislative Committee has been struck to review Bill C-38, which is currently being debated in the House of Commons.
If the Bill passes Second Reading, as is currently expected, it will then be reviewed by the Legislative Committee.
The Legislative Committee will hear from witnesses and then draft a report to the House of Commons, following which the Bill will have third and final reading. If it passes Third Reading, it will be sent to the Senate for approval and would become law after that.
The Legislative Committee will include the following members:
